Privacy Policy for Cause I Can

We value your privacy. This privacy policy explains how we handle personal information. References to ‘personal information’ means any information which is identifiable as being about an individual.

This policy relates to our use of information provided to us, which is distinct and separate from our Clients’ handling of information through the Cause I Can products.

  1. Collection

We only collect personal information that is directly provided to us. We collect information in a variety of ways, including when you visit our site, register for our services, subscribe to our newsletter, or fill out a form. We also collect information when you contact us via phone. We only collect the information necessary to provide you our services and to manage our business affairs.


The type of personal information we collect depends upon why we need the information, but generally includes a person’s name, email address, mailing address and telephone number.   You may choose to visit our website anonymously and you can also refuse to supply us with personal information, however if you do, we may not be able to provide services to you.

We recommend that Clients who collect information through the Cause I Can suite, have your own privacy policy to explain how you handle information collected via Cause I Can products.

  1. Using information

We use personal information predominantly for the purpose of providing our services. This includes billing, communicating with Clients and assisting Clients with the Cause I Can Suite. We will use your email address to keep you updated with information about our products and services, but you can unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time. Finally, we also use Client feedback to improve our service.

Most importantly, we do not use or have automatic access to information that Clients (or customers of Clients) input into a Cause I Can product. We will only access your account to assist with any technical issues, upon your request.

  1. Disclosure of information

We do not disclose any information overseas. We also do not sell, trade or rent information to third parties. We will not provide your information to third parties, without your consent or unless required by law. We may disclose information to our business affiliates who assist us, but this is most likely to be in an unidentified, aggregate manner.

If, in the course of providing our services to our Clients, we obtain access to personal information being stored in a Cause I Can product, we will not use (including keep or copy) that information unless required to provide our services, and we will certainly not disclose such information.

  1. Security

We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of personal information, provided to us. We will only keep information for such a period as we are required by law to do so.

We offer the use of a secure server. All billing information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted to our third party payment provider. This means, that you leave our site when you make a purchase. We do not have access to your payment information, and we recommend that you review the terms and conditions and privacy policy of our third party provider.

  1. Non-personal identification information

We do not use cookies on our website. However, we may use analytics on our website to collect non-personal identification information about visitors to our site. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of computer and technical information about Users means of connection to our Site, such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilized and other similar information.

At times we may provide links to third party websites. If you access linked sites, you do so at your own risk.  We do not operate or control these third party sites and we are not responsible for their contents, operation, privacy, accuracy or security policies.
